• Financial Transaction Tax was introduced in Slovakia as a part of the consolidation of public finances in 2025.
• Now, the government proposes its cancellation.
• For the cancellation of this tax to become definitive, the entire legislative process must be completed (preparation of legislation, approval in parliament, signature by the president) and the legislation must be published in the Collection of Laws.
